STEPHEN HARTLEY SUSPENDED OVER SUPPORT FOR JIMMY SAVILE IN BANBURY LOCAL ELECTIONS

A candidate representing Reform UK in the upcoming local elections for Oxfordshire County Council has been temporarily suspended from the party following the emergence of social media posts that revealed his support for the notorious serial sex offender Jimmy Savile.

Stephen Hartley, who was listed as a candidate for the Banbury Hardwick ward, was set to contest the elections scheduled for 1 May.

However, his association with the party has now been severed after the posts came to light.
