A man has been sentenced to eight years in prison and placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely for a series of sex offences against a child.
Shaw Dennis, aged 40 and residing in Eskdale Grove, Bolton, was found guilty of three counts: sexual communication with a child, sexual assault, and oral rape of a child under 13.
He was sentenced today (September 20) at Bolton Crown Court.
The court heard that these charges relate to three separate incidents between December 30, 2019, and January 29, 2020, during which Dennis sexually abused the child.
Dennis received a sentence of eight years for the rape charge, with an additional 12 months concurrently for sexual communication and three years concurrently for sexual assault.
