During this period, he engaged in sexual encounters with her while still on duty, including visiting her residence to have sex during a police statement, an act that blatantly violated the standards of conduct expected from a police officer.

Further details from the case reveal that Wheeler also sent explicit videos and photographs of himself to the woman, and their relationship persisted for several weeks, during which he continued to abuse his position of authority.
