CAERPHILLY MAN HAD 1,130 CHILD SEX IMAGES AND ANIMAL PORN
A man has pleaded guilty to having more than 1,000 child sex images and animal pornography.
Sean Hart, 28, of Cardiff Road, Caerphilly admitted three counts of making an indecent photograph of a child, one count of possession of a prohibited image of a child and one count of possession of an extreme pornographic image.
The latter offence included an image of a woman involved in a sexual act with a dog.
In terms of the child abuse images, he had 301 category A images, the most serious kind, 409 at category B and 420 at category C.
His offending occurred between February 6, 2020 and June 17, 2025, Newport Magistrates' Court was told.
Hart’s case was committed to the crown court where he is due to be sentenced on May 15.
The defendant was ordered to register as a sex offender.
He was granted unconditional bail.
