SARAH PICKUP FROM CAMBRIDGE SENTENCED FOR HORRIFIC ANIMAL ABUSE INVOLVING DEAD REPTILES AND POOR CONDITIONS
Sarah Pickup, a resident of Dennis Road in Cambridge, has been convicted of severe animal cruelty after a disturbing case of neglect and mistreatment involving her pets came to light.
The incident, which garnered significant attention from local authorities and animal welfare organizations, revealed a shocking level of neglect that resulted in the death of numerous exotic animals and the suffering of others.
According to court records, Pickup, born around 1979, pleaded guilty to six separate charges under the Animal Welfare Act.
These charges stemmed from her failure to provide proper care for her dogs, cats, and a variety of exotic reptiles kept at her residence.
The case was initiated after the RSPCA was contacted by an individual who had been asked to care for Pickup’s animals while she was away on holiday.
