CWMBRAN PAEDOPHILE CAUGHT WITH 627 CHILD SEX ABUSE IMAGES
A PAEDOPHILE was caught with more than 600 child sex abuse images when police arrested him.Ryan Eustace, 34, from Cwmbran admitted making 274 category A indecent images of a child, the most serious kind, 211 at category B and 142 at category C.
These offences took place between November 13, 2020 and February 11 last year, Cardiff Crown Court was told.
He also pleaded guilty to possession of 96 prohibited images of a child and affray on March 26, 2025.
Eustace, of Hawkes Ridge, Ty Canol was handed a suspended prison sentence by Judge Lucy Crowther after she heard there was a realistic prospect of rehabilitation.
The defendant was jailed for eight months, suspended for two years.
He was made the subject of a 12-day mental health treatment requirement and he must complete a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
Eustace will have to register as a sex offender for 10 years and pay £150 costs and a £156 surcharge.
