PAISLEY MAN CAUGHT WITH OVER 300 CHILD ABUSE IMAGES AND VIDEOS
A Paisley beast has been caught with over 300 images containing horrific child sexual exploitation and abuse.Twisted Ross Coleman was snared when police raided his Wallace Street home in December 2023.
Cops found a haul of devices within the property including two mobile phones that belonged to the creepy 26-year-old.
A cybercrime investigation discovered Coleman was in possession of 335 child sex abuse and exploitation pictures and 15 videos containing the same sickening material.
Procurator fiscal depute Abigail McKenna told Paisley Sheriff Court: “Around 7.45am on December 1, 2023, police attended at the accused’s home with a search warrant.
“The accused was within the property and was told the reason for police attendance.
He granted access to the property where his mother was also within.
“A systematic search was carried out during which a number of devices including four laptops, seven mobile phones and two tablets were recovered.
These were seized and submitted to the cybercrime unit for analysis.
“The accused was arrested and taken to Govan police station.
A full cybercrime analysis of the two seized devices belonging to the accused took place and the following was recovered.
“On the Google Pixel phone, there were a total of 223 images containing child sexual exploitation and abuse material.
These were categorised as 12 within Category A, 79 classed as Category B and 132 were Category C.
“On the Samsung mobile, a total of 112 images and 15 videos containing child sexual abuse and exploitation was recovered.
“There were eight Category A images and four videos.
There were 30 Category B images and six videos and 74 Category C images and five videos.
“The children featured in the images on both devices were mostly boys, with some girls, estimated to be aged four to 15 years old.” The court heard of highly graphic and distressing detail in the images and videos recovered, which included the sexual abuse and sexualisation of children.
Coleman pleaded guilty to being in possession of indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children between August 22, 2021 and December 1, 2023, at his home while subject to a court order.
The Crown made a motion for Coleman to be subject to a sexual harm prevention order – a court order designed to protect the public from sexual harm by restricting the behaviour of individuals convicted of certain sexual offences or deemed to pose a risk of sexual harm.
They can prohibit a person from carrying out specific actions, such as visiting places with children.
Defence agent Robert Mitchell asked for reports to be prepared.
Sheriff Thomas Millar adjourned sentence to call for a criminal justice social work report, a restriction of liberty order assessment and a risk assessment.
Coleman will return to court on October 17 and was placed on the sex offenders’ register.
Consideration of the sexual harm prevention order was continued to the same date.

On a Samsung phone, he had a total of 112 images and 15 videos, with 8 Category A images, 4 videos, 30 Category B images, 6 videos, and 74 Category C images with 5 videos.
The children featured were mostly boys, with some girls, estimated to be aged four to 15 years old.
The highly graphic images and videos showed sexual abuse and sexualisation of children.
Coleman pleaded guilty in September last year to being in possession of indecent photographs of children between August 22, 2021, and December 1, 2023, while subject to a court order.
The court heard of the distressing content recovered.
Coleman was remanded in custody, with sentencing scheduled for January 15.
