PAEDOPHILE SPARED JAIL AFTER STASH OF CHILD AND DOG SEX IMAGES FOUND ON PHONE
A PAEDOPHILE who shared extreme indecent images of children and animals has been spared jail.Robert Glaysher, 52, of Great Oaks Chase, Chineham, appeared for sentencing in Winchester Crown Court on Friday, February 27, having previously pleaded guilty on January 27 this year in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, to possessing and distributing indecent images of children in categories A to C, and of possessing extreme pornography involving sexual acts with animals, with prosecutors telling the court police recovered 1,228 extreme images in total, although only a proportion of them are reflected in the charges.
The court heard that between 2016 and 2022, Glaysher had accumulated his cache of indecent images across several devices, including an iPhone 13, a laptop and an iPad, sharing several of the most serious Category A images, to six recipients on WhatsApp.
When arrested by police, Glaysher answered "no comment" to every question but did provide pins to his electronic devices, which were seized and examined.
These images, which were both moving and still, included children aged between five and 10 years old performing sexual acts on adults.
Another extreme pornographic video recovered showed a dog performing a sexual act on a woman.
Glaysher, a married delivery driver, appeared in the dock wearing a light blue shirt as Judge Adam Feest KC passed sentence.
He said: "Anybody who possesses indecent images of children is committing a very serious offence.
Distributing is even more serious.
"You had a large number of Category A, B and C images.
Had you been distributing any further images, or if it was more widespread, you’d be going to prison today."
