POLICE HUNT FOR SEX OFFENDER WITH CHEST TATTOO IN BURNLEY
Police are looking for a registered sex offender with links to Burnley.Officer “urgently” need to speak with 37-year-old Richard David Layfield, who is a registered sex offender.
Police want to speak to Layfield because he has allegedly failed to comply with his sex offender notification requirements.
He is 5ft 10, bald, has a tattoo on his chest which says 'Jessica' and a tattoo on his left wrist which says 'Ethan', along with a date of birth.
Layfield has links to Burnley and Portsmouth.
The public has been asked not to approach him.
A police spokesperson said: “The man pictured is 37-year-old Richard David Layfield, he is a registered sex offender and we urgently need to speak to him.
“We want to speak to Layfield because he has failed to comply with his Sex Offender Notification Requirements.
“Layfield, is 5ft 10, bald and a tattoo on his chest which says Jessica and a tattoo on his left wrist which says Ethan with a DOB.
“Layfield has links to Burnley and Portsmouth.
“We would ask that members of the public do not approach him, particularly women.
