A person who has been placed on the sex offenders register for taking photographs of children is not considered a danger to youngsters.
Reece Carson, 26, from Fleming Court, Scott Crescent in Troon, admitted to the offence of taking or enabling indecent images of children.
At Ayr Sheriff Court last week, a sheriff indicated that Carson does not pose a threat to children.
His lawyer, Tony Currie, explained to Sheriff Desmond Leslie: “There are no prior convictions or unresolved issues for this man.
This could be classified as a serious mistake.
It has resulted in serious consequences for him.”
