IRVINE MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT OF TEEN GIRL IN TROON
A man from Irvine has been accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl at a residence in Troon.Joseph Morrison is charged with a single count of sexual assault against the complainant, who was under 16 at the time of the alleged incident.
His case was scheduled to be heard on Monday at Ayr Sheriff Court.
The 26-year-old defendant is alleged to have repeatedly tickled her on her body and touched her over and under her clothing, including her thigh, at a property in South Ayrshire.
The charge also states that he touched her breast beneath her clothing and "placed his leg between her legs" during an incident on April 15, 2025.
During the court appearance, the case was adjourned without a plea, and Morrison, residing on Burns Street in Irvine, was ordered to return at a later date to face the charges.
