TUNBRIDGE WELLS SEX OFFENDER PAUL WEEDON SENTENCED TO COMMUNITY ORDER
On November 27, 2008, Paul Weedon, a 37-year-old man from Park Road, Tunbridge Wells, was sentenced to a community order after being found guilty of possessing and making indecent photographs of a child. The sentencing took place at Sevenoaks Magistrates Court, where chairman Jeff Owen stated, "For the two offences to which you pleaded guilty we impose a community order for 24 months." He further explained that Weedon would be subject to supervision during this period and required to attend an accredited sex offenders' programme.Weedon was also ordered to pay £500 in prosecution costs. Additionally, he was told that he would be listed on the sex offenders' register starting from the date he pleaded guilty, which was October 8.
