PAEDOPHILE PAUL WALLIS FROM DARTFORD SENT TO JAIL FOR ABUSING TEENAGE GIRLS
In a recent case that has shocked the Dartford community, Paul Wallis, a 32-year-old man from Lawrence Hill Road in Dartford, has been sentenced to prison for his involvement in the sexual exploitation of underage girls. The incident, which took place in October 2003, culminated in Wallis being convicted of multiple charges related to gross indecency involving two girls, both aged 13.Wallis, who was unemployed at the time, appeared before Croydon Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to three separate counts of gross indecency. The court heard that his offending included an assault on one of the victims at Barnehurst Golf Course, a location known to many residents of the area. The nature of the crimes was deeply disturbing, involving inappropriate and illegal acts committed against minors.
The police investigation into Wallis’s activities was sparked when a member of the public recognized him from an electronic facial image (e-fit) that had been circulated in the News Shopper newspaper. This e-fit was created based on descriptions provided by one of the victims, which ultimately led to his identification and subsequent arrest.
Following his conviction, Wallis was sentenced to 30 months in prison. Additionally, he was ordered to be registered on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life, a measure designed to monitor and restrict his activities following his release from custody. The case has served as a stark reminder of the ongoing efforts to protect vulnerable minors from sexual predators within the community of Dartford and beyond.
