WEAPON WIELDING EX USED PHONE APP FOR 'MENACING' PHOTOS
A MAN who has been accused of sending pictures of himself holding a knife, axe and a variety of weapons to his ex partner, has been released on bail.
Paul Higgans eventually pled guilty on February 26, to sending pictures of himself via 'WhatsApp' to Sarah Hill that were grossly offensive, indecent, obscene and menacing.
The 19-year-old committed the offence having previously been granted bail on April 4, 2015 at Paisley Sheriff Court.
The court heard that Higgans has no other withstanding serious matters, but the pictures in this case included fire arms.
Sheriff Mhairi MacTaggart addressed Mr Ashraf and said: "I hope you have explained to him [Higgans] that his current bail conditions will remain in place and he will have no contact with Sarah Hill." Mr Ashraf responded: "I have." Sentence has been deferred until April 28, 2016 until other matters have been resolved.
Bail is continued.
