MAN JAILED FOR INCITING CHILDREN INTO SEXUAL ACTIVITY
A 29-year-old man from Lowestoft has been sentenced to prison following a series of offenses involving children and sexual solicitation.
Owen Trevallion, residing on Ailmar Close in Lowestoft, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday, 23 April.
He had previously admitted to the charges in an earlier hearing and was subsequently sentenced to six years in prison.
In January 2026, authorities detained Trevallion for violating his sexual harm prevention order (SHPO), which is valid until November 2030.
During his arrest, he was found in possession of two mobile phones.
Analysis of one device revealed numerous messages of a sexual nature directed at young female children.
In these messages, Trevallion impersonated a female and solicited nude or sexual images from the children.
Authorities also discovered indecent images of children on his phone.
Further investigation identified two female minors who had been targeted by Trevallion.
Additional review of his device uncovered multiple applications that violated the terms of his SHPO.
He pleaded guilty to several charges, including two counts of engaging in sexual communication with a minor, two counts of inciting two different girls to engage in sexual acts, one count of threatening to distribute images or videos of a person in an intimate setting, and four counts of breaching his SHPO.
