LOWESTOFT MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO MAKING INDECENT CHILD IMAGES
A man has pleaded guilty to making more than 300 indecent images of a child.Christopher Bell, 47 and of Orwell Drive, Lowestoft, pleaded guilty to three charges of making indecent photographs/pseudo-photographs of a child at Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court.
He was charged with making 145 Category A images on or before March 13 2024, and 157 Category B images and 63 Category C images, both on or before March 13 2025.
He will be sentenced at Ipswich Magistrates' Court on April 10 at 10am.
Bell has been granted conditional bail, which includes not to delete any data on any device and not to install any software which could wipe internet history.
Prosecuting Jessica Neequaye said: "Suffolk Police received information from the Crime Agency.
Both the email and username were linked back to the defendant.
Police arrested the defendant.
A number of items were seized.
A Samsung Galaxy S23 came back with having 145 Category A images and 157 Category B images.
In mitigation, Eddison Flint said Bell had no previous convictions and had taken positive steps to address his offending, including taking part in the Safer Lives programme."
