OSIAN OWEN FROM GWYNEDD SENTENCED FOR MULTIPLE RAPE OFFENSES INVOLVING UNDERAGE GIRLS IN BANGOR AND MAESGEIRCHEN
A young woman who endured repeated sexual assaults today shared her harrowing experience, revealing how her childhood was stolen from her by a man she now refers to as her tormentor.Osian Owen, aged 28 and residing in Min y Ddol, Maesgeirchen, Bangor, was convicted of multiple heinous crimes involving two underage girls from the Gwynedd area.
During a trial held last month at Mold Crown Court, Owen was found guilty of five counts of rape against the first victim, a girl who was under 13 at the time of the assaults.
The court also convicted him of causing or inciting a second girl, also under 13 during the incidents, to engage in sexual activity.
These convictions highlight a pattern of predatory behavior that spanned several years, with Owen targeting vulnerable young girls in the Gwynedd region.
Today, the presiding judge described Owen as a
