Dale Myles Selby, residing in Cae’r Ffynon, Llanystumdwy, appeared before Mold Crown Court on Tuesday, 16 December, to face charges after admitting to acts of stalking.
In September 2025, Selby sent a series of threatening and abusive voice messages to a woman, alleging that she had transferred money to him into the wrong bank account.
He also threatened to force his way into her home and to assault both the woman and her husband.
Selby continued sending multiple threatening voice notes, creating a fear of violence for the recipient.
As a result, Selby was sentenced to six months in prison for the stalking crimes and was placed under a five-year Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO).
Additionally, he was jailed for two years for breaching a previously suspended sentence, which was related to a prior burglary.
His cumulative sentence amounted to two and a half years in custody.
