NICOLE PRATT FROM LEOMINSTER JAILED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF CHILDREN IN HEREFORDSHIRE AND WEST MIDLANDS
A woman from Leominster, Herefordshire, identified as Nichole Pratt, has been sentenced to prison following a deeply disturbing case involving the sexual abuse of two very young children.The case has shocked the local community and highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat child exploitation.
Authorities acted swiftly after receiving an anonymous tip-off that led to Pratt's arrest.
The tip alleged that she had engaged in the sexual abuse of two children and had recorded these heinous acts on her electronic devices.
During the investigation, police seized her mobile phone and a USB stick, which proved crucial in the case.
Analysis of the seized devices revealed the extent of Pratt’s crimes.
The USB stick contained videos classified as Category A, which is the most serious level of child abuse material, depicting Pratt sexually abusing one of the children.
Meanwhile, her phone held additional videos showing her abusing another young victim.
These findings provided irrefutable evidence of her involvement in these criminal acts.
When questioned under caution, Pratt initially denied any involvement in the offences.
However, faced with the overwhelming evidence collected by the police, she eventually changed her plea.
During her plea and trial preparation hearing on September 16 of the previous year, she admitted to causing or inciting a child under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity, as well as two counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
The incidents in question occurred over a period stretching from October 23, 2023, to August 1, 2024.
Following a detailed hearing at Hereford Crown Court, Pratt was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison on Tuesday, February 4.
In addition to her custodial sentence, she was also subjected to a sexual harm prevention order, aimed at protecting the community and preventing any further offences.
