PERVERT GETS KIDS CHARITY TO BACK HIM.
A CONVICTED paedophile duped a children's charity into backing his business.
Neale Hargreaves, 36, boss of an upmarket flooring firm, was out on bail for abusing a young girl when he approached Children 1st.
The Edinburgh-based charity agreed to a free advert promoting his firm in a glossy leaflet.
Last night, bosses at the organisation said they were sickened to hear of his past.
The paedophile, who runs Dunblane-based Hargreaves Reclaimed Flooring, was convicted of child abuse at Edinburgh High Court last June.
He was sentenced to three years in prison, plus an extended two years, after pleading guilty to several offences of lewd, indecent and libidinous practice or behaviour towards a child.
But the businessman from Grangemouth, who is married with two children, was granted leave of appeal and released on bail in November.
Mafe Marwick, of Children 1st, said: 'To have our name used to benefit someone guilty of abusing children is extremely offensive.'
