ROCHESTER NURSE'S AIDE CHARGED IN ASSAULT AND MISCONDUCT CASES

A nurse's aide named Mr John Horace, aged 51, employed at Westfall Healthcare Centre in Rochester, was charged with multiple crimes including posing as a gynecologist and sex therapist and offering to conduct pelvic exams since March.

He was sacked in September after an annual inspection revealed numerous deficiencies in patient care.

police investigations also linked him to the rape of a woman in a nursing home last August, who has been in a coma since 1985 due to a car crash and is five months pregnant, a situation described as horrifying by the family's lawyer.

The police have not disclosed whether Mr Horace was involved in the rape of the woman with whom he is being investigated.
