DENTON MAN JAILED FOR LIFE FOR KILLING SISTER-IN-LAW AFTER DISCOVERY OF THEFT
Moustapha Dia, a 22-year-old man residing on Ashton Road in Denton, has received a life sentence for the killing of his sister-in-law, Lala Kamara.
Reports indicate that Ms.
Kamara, who was 26 and training to become a nurse, was found strangled at her residence in Denton Court, Greater Manchester, in March.
It emerged during the investigation that Ms.
Kamara had uncovered Dia’s thefts from her and her partner, which he committed to support his drug dependency.
Greater Manchester Police stated that Dia strangled her while her partner was away.
Authorities also found that Dia had searched online for phrases like 'life imprisonment in England and Wales' and read articles related to similar offenses.
He confessed to the murder during his court appearance at Manchester Crown Court and was sentenced to serve at least 23 years behind bars.
Both police and her family paid tribute to Ms.
Kamara, emphasizing her compassionate nature and her goals of becoming a nurse.
