A paedophile from Chelmsford has been jailed for nine years after victims broke decades of silence.A 61-year-old man has been imprisoned for nine years after two women found the courage to report sexual abuse that occurred more than 40 years ago in Chelmsford.
Michael Toms, of Horsecroft Road, Hemel Hempstead, was convicted at Chelmsford Crown Court of one count of rape, six counts of indecent assault and two counts of indecency with a child.
The abuse took place in the Chelmsford area during the 1980s when his victims were children.
