Several complainants each independently named a second teacher as having been involved in the abuse.Michael Quinlan, who now lives in Chelmsford, has already been convicted of abusing pupils at the school.
In 2004, he was jailed for 18 months after pleading guilty to indecency with male pupils and was convicted again in 2022 with a suspended sentence.
Quinlan admitted to police that he was sexually attracted to blond, teenage boys, but he was handed a suspended sentence after his second convictions.
In 2024, Newsquest confronted Quinlan in Chelmsford, asking about the new allegations in the lawsuit.
He stated he only committed the offences for which he was convicted and did not wish to comment further regarding any future reporting.
