DUNS: MAN PLAGUED EX-PARTNER WITH ABUSIVE TEXTS AND MESSAGES
Michael Longstar, a 35-year-old male, admitted to harassment by repeatedly sending abusive texts and messages over a period of six months following the end of his five-year relationship with his ex-partner.The woman, with whom he shared a dog, was subjected to almost daily emails, phone calls, and messages, including 42 attempts at FaceTime on May 2nd.
She later provided police with screenshots of the offensive messages.
Longstar was fined £400 plus a £20 surcharge and received a non-harassment order prohibiting any contact for two years.
His attorney mentioned that he had been seeking reconciliation but recognized the relationship was over once the charges were filed.
