MICHAEL FINCH AND DAVID FINCH SHOCK DARTFORD WITH EXTREME PORNOGRAPHY DOWNLOADS
On March 15th, 2012, a disturbing case emerged from Dartford involving a father and son duo who have confessed to downloading an alarming quantity of extreme and illegal pornography.David Finch, aged 55, and his son Michael Finch, aged 25, both residents of Chastilian Road in Dartford, appeared before Dartford Magistrates’ Court to admit their involvement in this troubling activity.
According to court proceedings, the pair collectively downloaded over 20,000 files containing highly explicit and illegal content.
These files included indecent images of children as well as videos depicting women engaged in sexual acts with animals.
The court was informed that the police raid on their home in August of the previous year uncovered this extensive collection of illicit material.
The discovery left David Finch’s wife of 25 years visibly unimpressed, highlighting the personal and familial turmoil caused by the revelations.
During the hearing, it was revealed that the two men did not communicate about the content they accessed, although David Finch was aware that his son had downloaded indecent images.
David Finch, who works as a self-employed mechanic, faced 16 charges, including six counts of making indecent photographs of children.
The police seized his computer during the raid, which was found to contain a staggering 19,481 indecent images and 302 movies.
Many of these images, over a thousand, were rated at the highest levels of severity, levels four and five, indicating extreme content.
Prosecutor Darren Crispin stated that David Finch admitted to masturbating while viewing the indecent images of children, further underscoring the disturbing nature of the case.
Meanwhile, Michael Finch, who is currently unemployed and resides with his parents, was also found to possess a significant collection of indecent images and videos.
Defense lawyer Wayne Crowhurst explained that Michael claimed to have come across the material by accident and out of curiosity.
Despite this, the court heard that Michael had downloaded 302 movies and 126 indecent images, including videos of women having sex with dogs and horses.
Notably, 223 of these files were rated in the top two levels of severity, indicating their extreme nature.
Both men admitted that their downloads spanned a period of two to three years, reflecting a prolonged engagement with this illegal activity.
The case was scheduled to be transferred to the Crown Court, where more severe sentencing options are available.
The court proceedings highlighted the serious criminal behavior of the Finch family, raising concerns about the extent of their involvement in the distribution and possession of illegal pornography in Dartford.
