DARWEN WOMAN IN COURT OVER STALKING AND PERVERTING JUSTICE

A Darwen woman has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with several offences.

Melanie Batson, 42, of The Meadows, was accused of making a false police report pretending to be Adrian Batson, which had a tendency to pervert the course of public justice.

She was also charged with stalking through repeated unwanted contact and leaving a defamatory Google review that caused serious alarm or distress to Dr.

McKeating.

Additionally, she stalked Ashlie Allison in a similar manner.

Ms.

Batson faces charges of perverting the course of justice by making false allegations about Helen and Paul Topping, and stalking them by spying, shouting abuse, and making false reports to the police and on YouTube.

She has been summoned to appear at Preston Crown Court on February 25.
