LANGLEE MAN PUNCHED WALLS DURING BUST-UP WITH PARTNER
A 20-YEAR-OLD male involved in a bust-up with his partner at a house in the Langlee area of Galashiels has been ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work at Selkirk Sheriff Court.McKenzie Lloyd-Rimmel pleaded guilty to a charge of threatening or abusive behaviour by acting in an aggressive manner towards the woman and repeatedly punching doors at his home in Woodstock Avenue on September 25.
The court was told the couple had been drinking alcohol along with two of her friends when the accused became agitated and an argument developed.
Defence lawyer Ed Hulme said the pair remained on speaking terms.
