GALASHIELS WOMAN ADMITS DOMESTIC ABUSE AT SELKIRK COURT
A woman from Galashiels who admitted to engaging in a pattern of abusive behavior towards her former partner has had her sentencing postponed at Selkirk Sheriff Court to allow for the preparation of background reports.
Hayley Cross, aged 30, pleaded guilty to a domestic abuse charge that took place in Galashiels from January 2020 to April 2026.
The court was informed that she repeatedly insulted her partner, monitored their phone, took it away and threw it against a wall, scattered furniture and clothing around the house, pushed them physically, and grabbed them by the neck.
Cross, residing on McQueen Gardens, is scheduled to be sentenced on August 3.
