WINSFORD MAN CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE RAPES TO STAND TRIAL IN 2026
A WINSFORD man is set to stand trial next year charged with multiple sex offences – including rape.Mark Stoneley, of East Dudley Street, appeared at Chester Crown Court on Monday, November 24, where he denied all the charges put to him.
The 46-year-old is charged with three counts of rape, five counts of sexual assaults, and one of voyeurism.
The charges relate to alleged incidents, reported to have taken place between July 1 and November 16 last year.
After entering his not guilty pleas, Stoneley was remanded on conditional bail and will return to crown court for trial in the week beginning November 16 next year.
Stoneley was ordered not to contact his alleged victim by any means or enter a specified address in Northwich.
The trial is estimated to last five days.
