RUNCORN PERVERT JAILED BY COURT FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
A man has been imprisoned after attempting to meet a minor for sexual purposes.
Louis Morrison also encouraged a underage girl to engage in sexual acts during disturbing online conversations.
The 20-year-old was reported to police and charged with multiple offences, including communicating with a child for sexual reasons and planning a child sex offence.
He was additionally accused of persuading a minor to partake in sexual activity, exposing a child to sexual content, and possessing explicit images of children.
After admitting guilt, he appeared before Chester Crown Court for sentencing.
Prosecutor Peter Hussey stated that the explicit online chats took place in late 2024 in Runcorn.
Morrison deliberately contacted the girl to seek sexual pleasure, referring to her as ‘baby’ and ‘gorgeous,’ and expressing love along with intentions to have sex.
He also sent her lingerie and images of himself performing sexual acts, encouraged her to perform sexual acts on herself, and arranged a meeting for sexual activities.
Authorities discovered 41 indecent images of children on his devices, including four classified as the most severe.
Judge Simon Berkson sentenced Morrison to four years in a young offender institution, to be served immediately.
He is also required to register as a sex offender indefinitely, comply with a 10-year sexual harm prevention order, and is subject to a restraining order preventing contact with the victim for nine years.
