STALKER TOLD NOT TO ENTER CHESHIRE 'ENTIRELY' BY CHESHIRE POLICE
A PERSISTENT stalker who entered his victim's home uninvited on numerous occasions, stole her house keys and threw rocks at her windows was told by police not to enter the Cheshire area 'entirely'.Kias Scott-Knight, of Merlin Street, Liverpool, appeared before Warrington Magistrates Court on Wednesday and pleaded guilty to five offences, including stalking, theft, criminal damage and two charges of possession of cannabis.
The victim had been in a relationship with Scott-Knight for four years which had since ended.
He was first arrested on December 19 last year for matters concerning the victim, and was found with cannabis.
He was released on bail with conditions not to enter Cornwall Close in Runcorn.
On Christmas Day last year, a 999 call was made reporting that he had entered her property and was found in the kitchen, with a bathroom window open.
Despite being asked to leave multiple times, he refused and left only after police threatened to be called.
He also entered her home uninvited on December 22 and 23 last year, followed her to a bus stop, and hung around her address.
Scott-Knight was bailed with conditions not to 'enter the area of Cheshire entirely' to maintain distance but breached this by attending her home in Runcorn in January, throwing rocks at windows.
He also attended an event at a club on January 31 after an argument, and on January 30, he visited her property again, refused to leave, and stole her house keys.
Cannabis was found at his home, and he damaged the victim’s phone charger.
Scott-Knight was arrested on Tuesday and ordered to appear before Warrington Magistrates Court for a first hearing.
He pleaded guilty to all offences.
The court noted his pattern of behavior caused extreme distress, leading the victim’s mother to stay with her.
The defendant has no previous convictions, but was remanded in custody until sentencing on February 25, pending a pre-sentence report.
