2014: THUG WHO KICKED GIRLFRIEND IN THE HEAD AND ATTACKED HER WITH A GOLF CLUB IS JAILED
A man was jailed by magistrates following an assault on his girlfriend that involved kicking her in the head and using a golf club as a weapon.Leighton Brierley, aged 34 and residing on Bromwich Street in Bolton, pleaded guilty to attacking Tina Hanson on May 4 and damaging a window on the previous day, which was valued at around £100.
He also admitted to damaging a window on May 7, assaulting James Williams on May 13, threatening to smash his window, and not surrendering to court proceedings.
He received a sentence of 22 weeks in prison.
