TEACHER ACCUSED OF RAPING 17-YEAR-OLD GIRL DURING SCHOOL TRIP
A teacher named Lee Savage, aged 31, who was the head of history at a comprehensive school in Bolton, Greater Manchester, was accused of heinously raping a 17-year-old girl during a school trip to a holiday chalet on the Isle of Wight.According to court reports, Savage became violent and forced the girl, who was a virgin, to perform oral sex in the chalet before raping her as she struggled.
The court heard that Savage, married with three children, denied the charge of rape and indecent assault, claiming instead that the sex was consensual.
The girl, whose identity remains protected, tearfully told the jury: "He was a teacher.
I thought he was in a position of responsibility." She recounted that she was out drinking with friends when Savage approached her, offering to walk her home, which she refused.
He then forcibly took her into an empty chalet, pushing her onto the bed, and assaulted her.
Despite her protests and attempts to shout, she said nothing came out, and the assault caused her visible distress.
Savage admitted to police having sex with her but insisted that she consented, claiming she led him to the chalet and asked to guess her bra size beforehand.
The court proceedings continue as the story unfolds with detailed testimonies and evidence presented.
