BURNLEY MAN TO STAND TRIAL FOR HISTORIC CHILD SEXUAL ASSAULTS
A man named Lee Parry, aged 33, is set to stand trial next year after denying three offences of sexual assault against a girl.Parry appeared at Burnley Crown Court on Thursday, August 28, charged with assaulting a girl under 13 by touching and two counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration.
The offences are alleged to have occurred in Burnley 17 years ago, in 2008.
Parry, whose last known address is HMP Risley, entered not guilty pleas to all charges and is scheduled to stand trial starting February 2 over three days.
He was remanded in custody ahead of a pre-trial review scheduled for December 8.
