BANBURY MAN KYLE BUTLER FOUND GUILTY OF HISTORIC CHILD SEXUAL ASSAULTS
A man has been convicted of sexual assaulting a six-year-old girl during his own childhood.Kyle Butler, who resides at Moorfield Court in Banbury, faced trial at Oxford Crown Court on charges stemming from historical child sex offences that took place from the late 1990s to the early 2000s.
On April 5, the 34-year-old was found guilty of two counts of unlawful sexual contact with a girl aged between four and ten, covering the period from June 19, 1999, to April 30, 2004.
At that time, he was approximately four years older than the complainant.
Butler denied the allegations when speaking to police following the report from the unnamed girl, who first made the claims in 2018.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 3.
