MAN JAILED FOR SADISTIC DOMESTIC ABUSE AGAINST THREE WOMEN
A man named Kyle Auld, aged 23, has been convicted and sentenced for subjecting three teenage girlfriends to what the court described as "appalling and sadistic" domestic abuse. The court heard that Auld beat and threatened his victims, with one victim being threatened with drowning.
He carried out vicious assaults on all three women, with attacks allegedly beginning when he was just 14 years old.
During the trial at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court, it was revealed that he threw a glass at one of the women and repeatedly assaulted the other victims, including hitting one with a vacuum cleaner attachment, dragging her into the street where he kicked her and pushed her face along the pavement, and threatening to drown her while dragging her towards a river.
The court detailed further brutal actions, such as repeatedly striking a head off a table, brandishing broken bottles, punching women, and jumping on them while they were helpless.
The defense noted that Auld grew up witnessing similar violence daily, admitting his conduct was "entirely unacceptable and serious in nature." Sheriff Alistair Watson sentenced Auld to 32 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to three charges of assault committed from July 2009 to March 2016 in Kilmarnock and Darvel.
The judge praised the courage of the women for coming forward and described the assaults as "appalling and at times sadistic." He also imposed non-harassment orders of three years for the first victim and eight years for the other two, forbidding Auld from contacting or being within 50 meters of them and from posting any information or images of them online.
The sheriff expressed concern about the ongoing risk Auld poses to females in the future.
