MAN SEXUALLY ABUSED BOY AND FILMED HIS WIFE HAVING SEX WITH THEIR PET DOG
A man was convicted of sexually abusing a child and recording his wife engaging in sex with their pet dog.Kieran Parkinson manipulated the young boy by offering cash, then performed a sexual act in front of him.
Authorities also found a series of disturbing Facebook conversations between Parkinson and his wife Mary, in which they discussed raping and assaulting children.
The Liverpool Crown Court was informed that an investigation into the couple from Haydock uncovered that Parkinson had contacted the victim via social media, asking him to play footsie.
The victim later told police that Parkinson, now living without a fixed address, had proposed paying him money for sex acts.
On another occasion, the 36-year-old was seen rubbing his genitals in front of the boy for several minutes.
Parkinson denied that this was sexually motivated, claiming he was simply itching himself.
Prosecutor Steven Swift revealed that police also discovered videos on Parkinson’s phone depicting women having sexual relations with animals, including one lengthy homemade recording showing his partner engaging in sexual acts with the family dog.
During the trial, Simon Christie, defending Parkinson, stated that his client had been severely assaulted during seven months in detention, suggesting this had a significant impact given Parkinson’s lack of prior convictions.
Parkinson, who appeared via video link from HMP Liverpool and has no previous criminal record, was convicted of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, causing a child to observe a sexual act, and possessing extreme pornography.
He received a prison sentence of two and a half years.
Judge David Swinnerton characterized Parkinson’s behavior as evidence of his inability to control his deviant sexual interests.
He noted Parkinson's motivations appeared driven by personal urges, with underlying issues potentially linked to drug abuse, which extended to his partner Mary Parkinson as well.
A sexual harm prevention order and a ten-year notification requirement were imposed, alongside a victim surcharge.
Mary Parkinson, also with no fixed residence, pleaded guilty to possessing extreme pornographic images, with her solicitor revealing she would be homeless upon release from HMP Styal.
