HALIFAX MAN KHALIFA MUGHAL SENTENCED FOR GROOMING AND DRUG SUPPLY
Khalifa Mughal, is a convicted sex offender from Halifax.He was found guilty of raping and supplying a class A drug to a young girl, as well as perverting the course of justice against another victim.
Mir was originally sentenced to 12 years in prison for these crimes.
However, after an appeal, his sentence was reduced to 10 years.
The case involved the sexual exploitation and grooming of young girls in the Calderdale area, and a total of 24 men have been convicted as part of this case, collectively serving over 260 years behind bars.
The legal restrictions on reporting the sentences have now been lifted, and the case highlights ongoing efforts to combat grooming gangs and sexual abuse.
