KELSEY WILLIAMS FROM LUTON SENTENCED FOR RAPE AND ROBBERY NEAR LUTON ALLEYWAY
In a case that has shocked the local community of Luton, Kelsey Williams, a 19-year-old resident of Vincent Road, was sentenced to eight years in prison for a brutal assault that included robbery, rape, and attempted rape. The incident took place on the evening of January 7th, near an alleyway in Luton, where Williams-Brown targeted a 17-year-old boy.
According to court proceedings, Williams-Brown approached the young victim and demanded his money, threatening him with a knife.
The court heard that Williams-Brown told the boy, "I will stab you in the throat," and remarked that it was his "lucky day" during the ordeal.
The victim, frightened and intimidated, handed over his wallet to the attacker.
Moments later, Williams-Brown returned the wallet and told the boy, "I will stab you in the throat if you don’t give me your phone," before taking the phone.
Following this, Williams-Brown led the boy to a nearby wooded area where he committed a sexual assault.
The court was told that the defendant was arrested approximately two hours after the incident when he returned to the scene and engaged in conversation with police officers.
During police interviews, Williams-Brown initially denied being in the alleyway and later claimed that the victim had consented to the sexual activity.
Judge Richard Foster described the sexual assault as "despicable" and emphasized its severity.
He also ordered that Williams-Brown’s name be added to the sex offenders’ register indefinitely.
The judge highlighted the lasting impact of the attack on the victim, describing the assault as "vicious" and noting that it would have enduring consequences for the young man involved.
