FACTORY WORKER JAILED FOR LIFE IN GRUESOME MURDER OF EX-GIRLFRIEND

A factory worker at a chicken processing plant has been sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 22 years for the brutal murder of his ex-girlfriend, Ilona Golabek.

The 42-year-old Kamil Ranoszek, after discovering she had contacted another man on Tinder, viciously attacked her at her home in Boston, Lincolnshire, while their three-year-old daughter was sleeping.

He bludgeoned Ilona repeatedly with a hammer at the residence, then manufactured a cover-up by claiming she had mysteriously vanished, even pretending to collaborate with police as her body was discovered three months later.

Ranoszek then took hours to dismember her body into 15 pieces, which he disposed of in a country park.

Blood-stained clothing belonging to Ilona was found hidden in their home, and Ranoszek’s version of events was contradicted by evidence and the blood evidence.

During his sentencing, Judge Simon Hirst described his actions as 'brutal, bloody and senseless,' and stated, 'You, while your three-year-old daughter was asleep, picked up a hammer and hit her at least seven times to the head.

You lied to her friends and relatives to see if you could save your own skin.' Ranoszek has been convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 22 years.
