EVESHAM SEX OFFENDER TRIED TO MEET CHILD "IN SCHOOL UNIFORM" TO MAKE A BABY!
A SEX offender was snared by 'paedophile hunters' after he tried to meet a girl of 15 'in her school uniform'.
The 22-year-old, Joshua Arden, who has learning disabilities, arranged to meet 'the girl' in a hotel for sex, discussing a threesome and even suggested they have a child together.
He was scheduled to meet the 'girl' at Evesham Railway Station and go to a nearby Premier Inn 'for the express purpose of having sexual intercourse'.
However, when he arrived, he was challenged by a member of a vigilante group and police were present, leading to his arrest.
Arden admitted attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity and attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming.
The charges related to 'attempts' because Arden was not communicating with a real child but a decoy set up by a vigilante group called Predator Awareness UK.
Arden, who has significant deficits in cognitive ability and educational background, was considered vulnerable.
He was sentenced to a two-year community order including a six-month electronically monitored curfew from 6 pm to 7 am, and a five-year sexual harm prevention order was imposed to control his online behaviour.
Also, a victim surcharge of £90 was applied.
