KELSO FACTORY WORKER FINED FOR DOMESTIC ASSAULT

ASSAULTING his partner during a bust-up at a house in Kelso resulted in a £300 fine for Joseph Ngoa.

The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to pushing the woman on the body and kicking her at the home they shared in The Linn, on November 25.

Jedburgh Sheriff Court was told the relationship is now over.

In addition to the fine, the factory worker was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and a non-harassment order lasting two years was put in place.
