KELSO MAN CHARGED WITH STRING OF SEXUAL OFFENCES INCLUDING RAPE

A Portuguese national living in Kelso is due to appear at the High Court in Glasgow this week on two charges of raping a woman.

Pedro Dionisio, 46, also faces charges of sexually assaulting a girl under 13 years of age and sexually assaulting another teenage girl.

He faces a total of 20 charges, with the other offences including assault to injury and permanent disfigurement, stalking, domestic abuse, voyeurism, sending sexual communications to a child under 13, and communicating indecently with an older child.

The offences are alleged to have been committed at addresses in Aberdeen, St Boswells and Galashiels between 2012 and 2021.

Dionisio, of Orchies Place, Kelso, is due to appear at a preliminary hearing at the High Court in Glasgow this Friday.
