DUNS MAN ADMITS BUST-UP WITH PARTNER IN KELSO
SENTENCE has been deferred on a 40-year-old man who admitted being involved in a bust-up with his partner.Daniel Brown pleaded guilty to a charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at a house in Oakfield Court, Kelso, on December 30, 2024.
He admitted shouting and swearing and acting in an aggressive manner after she said she wanted to end their relationship.
Defence lawyer Ed Hulme told the court the vehicle recovery driver said jealousy and anger had overcome him.
Sheriff Peter Paterson said he would defer sentence for one year and if Brown, of Currie Place, Duns, was of good behaviour he would impose unpaid work.
The case will recall at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on February 22.
