RAPIST JORDAN STRATHEARN BRANDED A MONSTER AFTER GUILTY VERDICT

A “controlling and violent” thug has been found guilty of raping his partner and subjecting her to months of abuse.

Jordan Strathearn carried out a sickening campaign of violence, threats and manipulation beginning in 2020.

The victim told how he repeatedly lashed out at her and even his own friends, once kicking her so hard she was sent flying into a wardrobe.

The court heard how Strathearn’s behaviour spiralled out of control, fuelled by drink and drugs.

He left his partner terrified as he screamed, threatened suicide, and turned violent when she tried to protect him.

She was left isolated from friends and family as Strathearn’s grip tightened.

In powerful testimony, the victim described how the abuse turned sexual.

She said she woke up to find him assaulting her several times a week, ignoring her pleas for him to stop.

The nightmare escalated in April 2021 when Strathearn raped her.

The victim, who bravely came forward, said after the verdict: “I think it’s time people know what he put me through.

Jordan Strathearn is a beast and I hope he gets everything he deserves.” Strathearn will be sentenced in the coming weeks.
