PREDATOR JOHN TAYLOR JAILED FOR MULTIPLE SEX OFFENCES
John Taylor, a predator, has been sentenced to serve four years imprisonment for his heinous sexual offences committed in 1992 and 2007, as announced by Teesside Crown Court.
In the first incident, Taylor forcibly entered the bed of a girl aged 13 or 14 and coerced her into performing a sexual act after stripping naked.
The victim left the house crying.
The second incident occurred 15 years later, during which Taylor made indecent suggestions to a 12-year-old girl.
Taylor, aged 46 and residing on Maple Avenue, Middlesbrough, was arrested on March 29 last year.
During police interviews, he denied the allegations, claiming they were lies and questioning why the victim took so long to come forward.
He pleaded guilty to charges of indecent assault, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and breaching a suspended sentence for a previous drugs offence.
It was revealed that Taylor had a prior conviction from 1988 for similar offences involving two girls under 14, which he did not disclose.
His defense argued that he had admitted guilt and did not use violence or threats nor provided any intoxicants to his victims.
However, Judge David Bryant highlighted concern over his previous conviction and lack of remorse, and sentenced him to four years in prison.
He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register, which he will remain on for life.
