EBBW VALE PAEDOPHILE ASKED ‘GIRL’ FOR INDECENT IMAGES

A PAEDOPHILE asked an underage “girl” for indecent images.

Joel Evans, 22, of Harcourt Street, Ebbw Vale pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.

Cardiff Crown Court heard how the offences took place between December 3 and December 6, 2024.

He believed he was talking to a girl under the age of 16 but was chatting to a decoy.

The defendant was ordered to register as a sex offender and granted conditional bail.

Evans is due to be sentenced on January 29.
