On 13 July 2023, law enforcement was dispatched to a location in the Luton vicinity of Chatham in response to an allegation of assault.
Officers conversed with a woman at the location who claimed that a male she was acquainted with, Jayden Stewart, had struck her and seized her neck, resulting in bruising.
The victim additionally reported that since 7 July, Stewart had repeatedly beaten and raped her, as well as damaged her mobile phone.
Jayden Stewart was apprehended and detained. The constables confiscated many packages of cocaine and heroin.
Subsequently, officers charged him with four counts of rape, two charges of assault by beating, criminal damage, involvement in the supply of cocaine, and involvement in the supply of heroin.
Jayden Stewart, residing on Alexandra Street in Canning Town, Greater London, admitted guilt at Maidstone Crown Court over two charges of cocaine trafficking.
He entered a plea of not guilty to the additional indictments and was convicted on Friday, March 8, 2024, subsequent to a trial. On Wednesday, January 22, 2025, the 24-year-old received a sentence of 12 years.
Jayden Stewart will be mandated to serve an additional four years on licence subsequent to that term and will be obligated to register on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
