JASON STARK SCUNTHORPE MAN SENTENCED FOR CHILD PORN AND ANIMAL ABUSE IMAGES
In a case that has shocked the local community of Scunthorpe, Jason Stark, a 46-year-old resident of Henry Street, was brought before Grimsby Crown Court to face serious allegations related to the possession and creation of indecent images involving minors and extreme pornography depicting animals.According to court proceedings, Stark admitted to three counts of producing indecent photographs of children, along with an additional charge of possessing extreme pornography.
The charges stemmed from a police investigation that commenced on September 1, following a tip-off about the potential downloading of illicit images at Stark's residence.
During the search of Stark’s computer equipment, authorities uncovered a disturbing collection of digital material.
The police found a total of 76 images depicting children, with 37 classified in the most severe category of abuse.
These images portrayed girls aged between 12 and 14 years old, highlighting the disturbing nature of the material involved.
In addition to the child exploitation images, authorities also discovered eight photographs involving bestiality, specifically involving a dog.
This evidence further underscored the severity of Stark’s offenses and the disturbing nature of the material he possessed.
The court sentenced Stark to a six-month prison term, which was suspended, meaning he would not serve time unless he committed further offenses.
Additionally, Stark was ordered to undergo 40 days of rehabilitation to address his behavior.
As part of the court’s measures to prevent future harm, Stark was also issued a seven-year sexual harm prevention order.
This order requires him to notify authorities of his personal details as a sex offender for the next seven years, ensuring ongoing monitoring and restrictions to protect the community from potential reoffending.
